If you decorate for the holiday, when do you pack everything up and put it away? Our practice is to remove the tree and other holiday decor on Epiphany. How about you?

A few days after New Years. We are having guests for one night on Jan 2, so I will probably leave things up until after they leave.

The weekend after New Years, normally, though if there are no interesting football games on, we may do it on New Years Day. This year I think we'll watch the Rose Bowl in the hope of seeing Oregon lose.

Jan 1. But I have started changing things today. I want to pack up some stuff tomorrow too. But we'll leave the tree up till Jan 1 and the outside lights too.

Depends upon the condition of the tree... as I get real trees. I think the latest was Jan 6th. I always write the date I packed up the decorations on the box. For about the past 8 years I've been traveling over New Year's so it's been a day or two after Christmas. This year I am not........so we'll see how long the tree lasts.

Epiphany also. Jan 7th starts the de-Christmasing and it takes about 3-4 days before the house is back to the way it was before. Exhausting but I enjoy it so much during the Christmas season.

We wait until Epiphany too, or the weekend after it. We also never put the tree up more than a week before Christmas (usually the weekend before Christmas) so we're not tired of it before January.
