It's possible, the sink is 50 wide... maybe it would be better on the back.. really don't know...

There is a principle that is often used in kitchen design: triangle rule - the idea being that the triangle creates a functional workspace.

Functionality is what you want, so imagine that you're about to prepare a hearty soup filled with all sorts of fresh vegetable. You need a place to put the veggies next to the sink, you'll wash them, chop them, and put them in the pot on the stove. Think through that routine, and decide where to put the appliances.

Personally, I like the idea of stove/microwave on far right, 3 feet (1m) counter space, sink, counter space with dishwasher underneath, and fridge on far left. I think it's safer to have a fridge next to a door than an oven (in terms of having the oven door open and someone quickly entering the room). A fridge with a double door would give less interference with the door that exits to the WC. I like the stovetop centered on the island, as it provides lots of counter space to prepare a meal.

Yeah, I see what you mean. The sink is much more practical behind... although aesthetically it makes the back look more cramped. I had thought of putting a 90 double door fridge even though I live on my own and it might be overkill... We could even move the door over to the island side so the fridge opens against the wall. There is 380 on that back wall so its seeing how to make it as symmetrical and functional as possible.

Just so I'm clear, is the 230 height from counter top to bottom of cupboard, or the height of the cupboard from bottom to top?

From bottom to top, that's to say, all the cupboards in line 10cm below the beam.

The cupboards are 230 top to bottom, with the top of the cupboards 10 cm below the beam. It doesn't look right.

I mean.. 90 bottom cupboards up to worktop, then 70 gap and 70 on top. And the oven tower and fridge the same, but the fridge would have a cupboard above to take it up to 230. Fridge is normally 160 tall

So the top of the cupboards should be 70 cm below the beam, or 70 cm below the ceiling?

What is the height of the cupboards from the bottom of the cupboard to the top of the cupboard (regardless of any other dimensions)?

Revit software components (cupboards, appliances, building materials) are off-the-shelf building products that are available in shops, but I've modified many of them at this point - such as door height/width, cupboard height (excluding all other dimensions), cupboard elevation (floor to bottom of cupboard), and so on.

The top cupboards should be 10cm below the beam and 70cm height. Leaving 70cm gap between the bottom of the top cupboards and the worktop.
