Oh I see! etch the entire window. sorry. I thought you meant sit and etch in pretty patterns all over

Nah, screw that Just cover the whole surface with the stuff they use to etch mirrors and such, clean off, and voila...easy peasey.

Actually, its not a pain at all. You wet the window and put the film on it and use a squeegee to get the excess air and water out. I had 18 separate divided panes and they each took less than 5 minutes.
