What's the best place to get appliances online?

I'm looking for a stainless steel stove, stainless steve oven, stainless steel dishwasher, and stainless steel microwave.

Is Best Buy the most inexpensive option or somewhere else? (Target maybe?)

Also, are there any companies that will pick up your old appliances when they deliver the new ones?

When we purchased a new fridge from Lowes, they took the old one.

Because sales are always going on, a store that might have the best price one week will be the highest the next week. I've heard good things about AJ Madison if you want to purchase online.

Yes, wait for sales. We made out like bandits at Lowes for our dishwasher and Best Buy for the range, microwave and refrigerator. They said they could get the range we wanted and ended up not able to. Instead of losing the business they upgraded us to the top of the line with the same features (plus a couple) at the same price.

In all cases they installed the new and hauled away the old stuff.

Edit: And watch for returns. Our refrigerator was returned the day before we were there. It was the same model we were looking at and was brought back because it didn't fit in the opening. Measure before buying, ya think? The packing materials were still in place inside and it has worked flawlessly. The sale price was $800 off and we got another $800 off. Ka-ching!

If you can stay with one manufacturer, frequently there will be big discounts for multiple appliances purchased at the same time.

I usually buy appliances (my own and for rentals) at Lowes. The home delivery from my local store is top notch.

Yes to one week one is on sale, another week another is on sale. We went to Home Depot, Best Buy, Sears, and a local chain (PC Richards in the northeast) when looking for a specific top rated appliance (from Consumer Reports).

Not every store carried it- and none had the exact model on the floor but all could get it. the local chain matched the lowest price we found and discounted the installation. They all charged for installation (price varied but minimally) and all removed the old appliance.
So, it could very well pay to price out what you want from multiple places and ask them if they will match or beat.
