Sometimes it's hard to visualize if you don't own the furniture. The bed will have a big footprint, especially if there is a footboard.

The bed in the model home is definitely no larger than a queen, and it might even be a double (hard to tell from the picture). In order for the room to not be too cramped, you want at least 3 feet of clearance around each side of the bed. So assuming that you're putting the bed with the headboard against the long wall, you should have enough room for the bed. Whether or not you'll have enough room for the dresser depends on how large the dresser is, but you should be able to fit that in as well. You'll want to keep the room bright and clear of clutter to help it look larger and airier, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to make that work. Also, if you're going to have a walk-in closet you may find that you can put the dresser in there or can add some wire shelves and skip on a dresser altogether, with just a lingerie chest or small piece.
