Something bold, like a blue that compliments the red of the brick.
I kinda thought that also. But I wasn't sure about a greenish blue or a grayish blue. I thought a solid blue would be too bold or too dark. My wife likes gray and tan, but I thought that might be too plain...
One good way to choose a color is to match the brick as best you can to a B. Moore color chip, and then key in the color and the Moore site will select two sets of combinations using accent colors. Its kind of fun to use, actually.
All I ever do is to key in the color name. You'll get the B.Moore site with the suggested colors. Like I said, its sort of fun.
I really don't mind the current color, but would probably want to darken it a bit.
I'd leave the yellow and paint the bricks a nice soft moss green color. Or paint the bricks a cream color and do the yellow as a soft blue.
