Our vertical blinds that cover a patio door ( Graber ) are suffering from sun exposure after 20 years). Two of them are starting tear in the middle of the blind( about halfway up). I tried to staple them but they are so brittle it did not hold. I am wondering, is it fairly easy to take one of the blinds on the end and swap it out for the torn one? Are they connected at the top that would snap out? Just wondered. It is going to be expensive to replace the whole shades as the blinds cover a whole 24' wall ( 3 patio doors in length ). In this group, maybe there is someone who has done this. Thanks!

P.S I did see some Youtube videos. Just worry about getting parts as most of those are plastic and are brittle as well. UGH

Plain and simple clip-in, snap out- nothing to it!

But you can replace for fairly cheap-

You could also try some reinforcing clips like some of the ones here: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...al+blind+clips

I've bought the beads from this place. They have vane savers there.
