I'm Googling interior design ideas and all I see are these perfect houses. Are there any web sites with real life examples that are actually doable to duplicate.
You mean with unmade beds and dishes in the sink? LOL! Most of those "perfect houses" have been staged for photographs and rarely look lived in. You might want to check out some decorating/DIY blogs and see what people are actually doing.

The pictures of models, remodels, project homes, mansions, penthouses, regal estates, etc.; isn't for the rest of the world to see how that individual/family lives- it's to sell the services of those that put it together!
I subscribe to English Home magazine and one of the reasons I love it is because the layout of the articles seems so different from US magazines and blogs. Many of the homes seem less perfect, more lived in - even the more luxurious homes. It's very common to see magnets covering a fridge, or scarves and hats on hooks - and it's apparent that they were NOT matched up for the photo shoot! I love the reality of many of the photos and articles.
Check out the Houzz app. While there are photos of designer homes, "regular" people pictures of their before and after remodel. People also post photos asking for advice and suggestions.
