I'm planning on getting some curtains made for my living room window (about 96"h x 70w") and want to buy some vertical Levelor vinyl blinds (white) for my bedroom slider window (about 96"h x 110w"). Those are my only windows. Right now, there are blinds on both of them, in bad condition; they were there when I bought the place.
1. Is it considered peculiar and/or unattractive to have window treatments of differing types on different windows, particularly large windows? (the fabric I've selected for my curtains would look good in the living room, less so in the bedroom).
2. Are Levelor blinds considered a one of the better and/or more durable type of blind?
3. Does Home Depot offer good quality Levolor vertical vinyl blinds? (they have a sale going on that doesn't last much longer; and I wasn't able to see the blinds on display, just how the different possibilities looked in the books; and I'm not sure I can get samples in time to book people to come in to measure in time to lock in the sale price). I want blinds that are durable, fairly simple but not unattractive.
I haven't bought blinds before; so any advice is appreciated.
I have the same cellular shades on all my window, and then drapes, etc. vary by room. I think that's not unusual.
Make sure to comparison shop before buying, there are many other sources like blinds.com and Budget Blinds, and the sale price at Home Depot may or may not be better than you can get elsewhere.
3. Their's is no different from any other retailer.
levolor blinds are good.
