Here is a photo pf the installed door. Would like a simple solution. The installers spoke zero English so not much help, there. I like it the way it is, but I don't think that is an option. Strange, some of the answers I get....2 coats of this...2 coats of that...products that haven't been made in 20 years...products that might asphyxiate the entire floor....It's a budget condo....it's not a vintage Corvette. I read 8 pages of the debate on using exterior paint indoors.....went to the paint store and was told you could use their paint indoors or outdoors, no difference.

If you like it the way it is, just put a few coats of poly on it.
You'll need to lightly sand it, put a coat of sanding sealer on it, lightly sand again when dry, one coat of poly, lightly sand, apply another coat, done.
