Anybody else remember the fake dogs? Seems like they were everywhere in my late 80s childhood. Also, lots of fake flowers.

Not alot has happened past the 80s
unless you love the industrial warehouse love in
Nice for artists and bohemians and a few yuppies, but hardly a revolution

Most people still want their flat or house with garden next to nature
A warehouse doesnt destress you
Planting and tending a beautiful garden does
And it helps the bees and butterflies and the uglier types too AND uplifts the neighbours

Politics and social movements dictate also to create trends, pro or anto ones, theres much psychology in it....but i wont bore you...except to say margaret thatcher promoted that


I think its fair to say for alot of people their home is a homage to the past as well as the present, thats why old stuff is always there

Thats why modern stuff is for the few and young not the many

how about the poofy valances with the vertical blinds under it.
now that was a horrible look.
i hate vertical blinds.
