Just bought a home the previous owner left this behind. I am trying to pick out stuff that I want in the bathroom and this is pretty useful I just don't know what to search for online to buy it. This one is pretty dirty and the stains cannot come off.

Those sink sliding trays were unique to the sink- usually supplied by the sink manufacturers. So, if you can find a name or other markings you maybe able to track it down that way.

Stainless steel can have surprising results with some Barkeeper's Friend.

If it will fit in dishwasher, you might run it through a couple or three cycles to see if it will become cleaner.

I did that with a stainless steel potato masher--a big commercial thing that I had to have in a thrift store. I ran it through the dishwasher several times and it made a big difference in the finish which resembles your artifact.

To replace it, you might have to have something made custom.

Default Elbow grease is required

I am a big fan of https://www.amazon.com/Woodstock-D29...dp/B0000DD35B/ for polishing

I bought something similar for my bathtub.

They are referred to as a bathtub caddy or bath caddy. If you are not stuck on one exactly like that which are full stainless steal then see this search link with images for other styles:
https://www.google.com/search?q=stai...+bathtub+caddy

I have/use one and I love it especially now that most shower/tubs are the one piece tub surrounds where there is not a lot of shelf space. And also great for kids to store their bath toys, etc.

Your photo appears to be a square sink so not sure if any of those in above link will work or fit your particular sink which appears to be an uncommon design.

The picture you posted looks like a rectangular commercial sink with a stainless steel tray hanging on it. I would check out a restaurant supply house.

If you like the existing tray, but it's just discolored, why don't you just go after it with some scotchbrite?
