I love your kitchen! And though I am not a big "word art" person, I like the "Gather" sign, just for the record. I would add something above/behind the stove as well, and very simple tile POSSIBLY as a backsplash. But honestly, you could do without a backsplash and just do something behind the stove.

Looks great, really doesn't need backsplash since it already has one! I would add a splash just behind the cook-top/ stove for grease . I like K'ledgeBldr suggesting about adding
crown to the cabinets!...

I'm talking about the pattern and color.

I always recommend matching the countertop by using the same material. If it’s a laminate sometimes you can find the matching sheets of laminate that you can put on the wall.

Apparently the OP had other intentions- there have been no responses. Consider it a dead thread!

Thanks everyone, i honestly would like to change the countertops to QUARTZ, and maybe stain the cabinets a darker color, how the kitchen is right now i think the best way to go is subway tiles? and of course i want to do something behind the stove.

I would not think so.

I would remove the backsplash that matches your counter and look at a tumbled marble tile.

So, other intentions indeed!
Now it's a total cosmetic re-do.

Let's turn the tables abit- Why? Following another thread about "renovations not needed"...
