I remember the talk show with tarek and the lady that found out about his cancer.
but i think is is insane that a tv viewer can spot somethig on a person and not even the wife (tarek) or friend, etc....but a viewer...
not "just" a viewer, though. With Tarek, it was a nurse, and this time it was a doctor. They see subtle things that a layperson would not pick up on
"Watching" HGTV can ruin your life and your wallet...
Being "on" HGTV may save your life- but it might be one of those people who's life is being ruined.

yes, your right, it was a nurse, i do remember watching the show they were all on.
, i also think that when you see a person daily you might not really notice, so yes, i agree with you, a regular person like us might not notice, true, i stand corrected.

Usually the people who spot these things are healthcare providers or had love ones with these conditions, so they tend to notice! Since losing my own sister to pancreatic cancer I have a much better ideal what to look for... My son in law eldest brother who 56 was having extreme itching of the skin and was mention this to a strange, the stranger told him his eyes whites looked a little yellow and to have his liver/ pancreas checked out since itchy skin all over might be liver issue or worst and sure enough he had pancreatic cancer! He underwent 12 weeks of chemo to shrink the tumor and was able to undergo whipple surgery! It's been a year he doing great! This same brother had cancer as a youth, luckiema and underwent a bone marrow transplant , that was 30 years ago! This stranger saved his life! Simple put his wife and himself didn't even notice his eyes whites looked off and the extreme itchy skin all over was a symptom! Just saying..
