Cathedral ceiling and our tree is nine ft. I bought this one from Sears. I wanted pre-lit multicolored lights but NOT LED lights. We had to use LEDs for years when we lived in our off grid cabin (paid thru the nose for them too, back then) and I don’t like them as much as regular twinkle lights. Unfortunately this tree doesn’t have real blue lights on it, just greens.
My daughter has a balsam Hill tree and it’s beautiful.

Now is the time to shop for an artificial tree for next year! Christmas decoration discounts galore...

My wife bought ours below 3 years ago after Christmas. It's a 12-footer (foyer ceiling is 20 feet). She bought it at Walmart for like $160 after the holidays 2015 (box says $249). This photo is of this year, a few weeks ago. It's a bare tree, not pre-lit, so you have to do that part yourself. The tree up on the second floor is about 7 feet, one in the back is the real tree for the year (son called him Fat Albert Einstein).
