But, it's not really gray, or white. Very warm yet light, and versatile neutral color.
It's a go-to color for me. Works great where many other colors wont.
Hello everyone,
Has anyone used and/or can anyone provide comments about the paint - Valspar American Tradition (this is the paint Lowe's sells).
How does it compare to Benjamin Moore, Behr and/or Sherwin Williams?
I will be doing the painting of our new home, which is currently being built. The builder will be putting that spray texture (with grit) on the walls and ceilings and I want to paint all the rooms before the trim and flooring go in.
Thanks in advance

Personally I really like Valspar. I painted my 1927 bungalow in Valspar Veranda Jekyll Island Ivory (or rather, my painter did) and it held up extremely well. The only room that was done in a different paint was the kitchen, which had Duron Poinsettia (yup, really red). When the painter repainted with the Valspar for resale, it took one coat of primer and two coats of paint to completely eradicate all traces of the red. The kitchen looked completely new. I'm going to use the same warm ivory color in my current home to replace the trendy dull grey, which I hate. BTW, that paint is Sherwin Williams.

I wound up getting three sample paints that were close, and mixed them in different batches and tried them on the wall. As soon as one dried, I knew that was it. So maybe you might like something similar.
This looks very much like my kitchen. Martha Stewart, Garden Shed.
