I like your plant stand. Where did you get it?

Thank you. The plant stand is actually just from West Elm. We had a gift certificate to them from our wedding. It's not bad at all for the money.

I really love Modernica's planters, but they are pricier and we had the gift card to West Elm already. Worth a look if you like the style of ours though: https://modernica.net/collections/ceramics

If you’re going to stay in that house during your golden years it may be worth widening the bathroom door to make it wheelchair accessible. You may be beyond that point though.

I appreciate the thought. Multiple doors in this old home are not wheelchair friendly and the bathroom (and frankly the house) as a whole is not that wheelchair friendly. I would have had to move walls/change an adjacent close to really do anything about it with any of these doors though.

Luckily I am 34 and she is 28, so, good health willing, a wheelchair should not be in our future for quite some time.

Mine is the same way, narrow bathroom doors. I’m 39 but I have a broken ankle at the moment which has made me realize how aggravating these things can be. When I redo my bathrooms next time those doors will be widened.

Understandable! If I was building new, I would certainly provide more egress space and wider doors, but alas you work with what you have in an older home sometimes. The cost to change doors out for something we (hopefully) won't need for quite some time wasn't in the plan right now. Always good to think ahead though!
