Our company once did a little write up about how they decide what will be on the stores shelves during a particular season. Had some various buyers explain the process of putting together a team and getting input to decide on a theme and colors, etc. How they get it all into production through multitudes of manufacturers. The most fascinating thing to me was how far in advance they made these decisions and how long the process took from initial idea to store shelf!
When I was in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, we used to call that kind of decorated transport truck a " jingle truck " because of all the hanging decorations, brass bells and figures of various Gods strung across the top of the windshield. The truck its self could be on its last legs, but the decorations would be first class.
I don’t know. But I have only observed the red trucks used as motifs, not a decor style. Are people using truck parts as objects d’art? Are they using truck front ends as headboards? Are people using truck seats as couches?
