So I ran across this website and I can't stop browsing through it. If you like old houses with old woodwork, old floors, great details and sometimes even well decorated (but sometimes not) have a look.
I'm not affiliated with this site, not trying to sell anything (although some of these houses are for sale if you've got the $$$), not trying to spam CD.
I just like old houses and their design elements.
If you know of any other sites like this I would love to see them.
I came across this desk in one of the pictures. Anyone know what type of desk this is? I was thinking drafting desk, and it's a partner desk, too. Love it.

oldhousedreams.com is a great site, even though it is a RE site. Their photos are very detailed and the house are amazing. They have a restored church right now that is really unique.
I often find myself looking at Realtor.com. I usually have it set at the lowest to highest price. Then one day, I saw a house on the lower end-a beautiful Victorian that needed a lot of work. I showed it to my husband. We decided to take a look at it because it was just around the corner from us. Well, once we looked, we were hooked. We made an offer and I am sitting in that house right now. Yeah, looking at old, beautiful houses can indeed be dangerous.

Cat
I love this story.
My current home, we first saw the day before my husband’s job interview. Five months later, we
closed on it. Some things are meant to be.

OP, one of my favorite blogs is Hooked on Houses, although she doesn’t devote herself exclusively to old homes. She specializes a bit in houses used in TV shows and movies and I especially love the posts about old movie homes.

I don't think it's an more a RE site than Captivating Houses. And I love the comments from people who research the house, know about house styles and maybe have even seen the house.
This site is one of my favorite go to’s. It’s fun looking at all the old houses in need of a renovation and some fantastic bargains are available. Apparently millennial’s use this site to get a foothold in the housing market. What fun.
