I get the look, but overall I think it looks incomplete and uninspiring.

Normally I like white trim, but this particular room looks pretty small, and there’s so much trim, I think it would be way “too much.” I like it as is, but ceiling could be white. And I love that wall color.

^^ This is what I usually think as well. Done right it can look great, but in general it just says LAZY.

I also think it works in the examples you showed because those rooms have a lot going on as far as trim, wall moldings, etc. In a typical room with just drywall and baseboards/casings I don't think it would look that great.

Not a fan. I like the contrast among ceiling, walls, and trim - and I prefer stained trim to painted trim.

It's the least odd thing about that room, honestly.

(Just the two of us... we never invite anyone over while we're watching our tiny TV)

I actually really like it in these photos. It's a nice color. Are these photos from a magazine? (done by a professional interior designer) because I think 'all of it' has to work together...the furniture, the details of the room, the light, the color you chose, etc etc.

I googled for the photos just to have examples.

It makes me feel boxed in, I don't think I could handle it in person unless the room was a fairly large one.
