There for vanity? There to make the room look larger?

To check that your clothes are hanging nicely on your body before you leave the house? Lots of similar reasons. Checking that you’re presentable.

The only bedroom mirror I have is a cheap Walmart standing one that is behind the bedroom door. I only use it occasionally to confirm that my top and pants go together suitably.

Yes! ^^^ Mainly to check on your appearance - hair, make up & clothes and basically assist you to look your best before you leave the room/house.

All mirrors do the same thing- they look back at you!
Where they are is no different- they still do the same thing!

We should thank our lucky stars for C-D. I would have never known what purpose a bedroom mirror serves if I hadn't read this thread

Really only two purposes for bedroom mirrors. One of them involves clothes and the other often involves no clothes
