just moved in my new house. pretty happy in general.
but this living room window layout is really odd and ugly to me.
I am attaching a picture. so, between the two windows there is my entertainment center which is black. but the third window is really close ... windows are just too small and plain.. (I am going to decorate the living room as Asian inspired..the second picture shows my center piece, that black shelf )

Please advise me on how to decorate the window and what type of window treatment I should get. thanks. pictures and weblinks are appreciated.

Plantation shutters could work very well, and possibly visually fill in some of the wall space in the corner between the two windows. Or a shojii screen type of window covering would be in keeping with your Asian theme.

But definitely take down those awful little fabric scraps on the windows that went out with "welcome to my country home" wall plaques and plaid tweed sofas. ;-)

Agree, lose the window treatments, even the blinds if you have privacy.

I see two wingback chairs and a unique table. Make it a reading/conversation area.
