I'm still looking for more pieces for that room (large satin backed vitrine and a pair of commodes) and one of my walls is useless because it's french doors and windows.
Beautifully proportioned, TheImportersWife. Very homey and welcomey.
Thanks for sharing.

Heres a great example of how to use a 60" round table in a small space, there had originally been a rectangular table in here, they had to shoehorn it in on the diagonal, my client loved this room after I finished it.

Hell with the table. The whole overall scene is beautiful. You know what I always say about the choices of colors by Interior Designer? The colors and color patterns are usually ugly but all put together they are beautiful.

Good job my friend !!!

Thanks! I thought that room turned out pretty well myself! Its actually a pretty small room in a very large house, I really dont know why the architect did it that way, I was brought in after the fact to fix the awkwardness of the rooms, the adjacent living room is ginormous, and everything has 15 foot ceilings.

Our buffet is about 75% of the length of our table, but we are fortunate in that we have a niche that the buffet sits in, so our problem wasn't so much the scale in relation to the table, but more that it filled the niche.
