I never would have considered wallpaper up until recently when I went to an estate sale. Now every room in this house was wallpapered in the most amazing styles of wallpaper that I had ever seen. I've almost become obssesed with attempting to find a wallpaper that looks something like it.

The closest thing I found was on a blog which led to a historical site here. (http://www.bechs.org/exhibits/esenwein_johnson/art_nouveau/art_nouveau.htm - broken link) The two in the middle of the page are equally stunning as this persons house I went to.

Would anyone consider doing just one room of wallpaper like the one linked above? And does anyone know where can I find it?

I've seen several houses where just one room is done with wallpaper. My sister's 100 year old home in south Jacksonville has circa 50's wallpaper in just the dining room and the adjoining bath, and it really sets off the decor throughout. She used the wallpaper colors as inspiration for the rest of the main floor of the house, and it really pulls everything together well.
