Hey everyone. I'm new to this 'sub'forum of CD!

I've been working on my home for a few days now, it's new, we haven't moved in yet, but I'm trying to get the boards up to be able to purchase the things I need for the rooms. I wanted some honest opinions about the designs, colors, schemes, etc.. so give it to me! Good or bad!

Office/guest room: (2nd floor)

I actually like what you've pulled together.

The only thing I don't like is the wood framed clock for the living room.

I'd also make the mirror frame black instead of wood or white to bring more black into the room with the black wood chair and black picture frames.

Definitely paint the bookcase white or black. I don't like it in the natural wood.

Well the reason I have some wood items (clock, possible bookcases) is we have some antiques that are wood that would be incorporated into the room (a 1960s stereo and record cabinet)

I am hoping with all of that white that there will be no men, kids, or pets in your living room.

Maybe its my monitor but the green in the dining room curtains looks a little off if you are trying to match the plates/other greens used in the house. It looks like a nice, happy home decor. Have fun!

Haha, actually we already have the couch and the ottoman, and we have a house full of boys and dogs... no real issues, thankfully it's all completely washable!

That's actually something that has been bothering me too. Any suggestions?

Those greens definitely don't go together. I thought it was just the pictures and that you already matched them up in person.

You'll have to pick different dishware or different fabric.
