I bought a bedroom set but the matching nightstand doesn't fit in the room. This is for my guestroom so I want a nightstand/table that will compliment the set I bought but I'm having a hard time envisioning what would work. The walls in the room are a light sage and the bedding is white/chocolate. Any suggestions/thoughts for a nightstand style that would work???? There is a image of the bedroom set I purchased attached (minus the nightstand of course).
@Cattknap - thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately my husband's only request for furniture is that I not buy wicker. He has a "thing" about it for some reason so I don't think that one would work.
@Wonderkind - I can't see the accent furniture link. Only platform beds, dining rooms, kids furniture, etc.
@BettyCrocker - that is very cute, plenty small enough and I think it fits with the "style". I wonder if the "whites" will match. I've been worried about buying something white because I'm concerned it will not match. You know how many shades of white there are, LOL. There is a target near my house - maybe I should just buy it and return it if it doesn't match.
My first thought was black wrought iron, like the plant stand gentlearts mentioned. White wicker would work too but I understand your husbands opposition to it.
Do you know the manufacturer of your furniture? Maybe you can find a different table in their collection, maybe some kind of accent table, hallway table, or tea table? That way you'd have something in the same style and finish. Good luck!
