This guy from TFL recently bought an Accord Touring trim Hybrid and argues it's the ultimate road trip machine - quiet, comfortable, smooth-riding and highly fuel efficient - he may have a point.

It's hard to disagree. All Accord are really nice cars and the hybrid just enhances that.

It was a hard choice between my Clarity and an Accord hybrid. In some ways the Accord would have still been a better choice, but I was coming off a couple hybrids already and wanted to ramp it up a little.

The Accord is already very efficient, but with the plug-in dimension, I see the Clarity is greener. I did consider the Accord hybrid myself when I bought myself in 2019, but I wanted the boxy volume and cargo area of an SUV (or CUV for those nitpickers) - for carrying the dog and occasional bulky or messy items.
