Getting Scratches and scoffs off Tile (cleaner, kitchen, stain, carpet)

I am moving out my apartment and there are alot of scratches on the kitchen floor, does anyone know of any way to get them out? Also there are stains on the carpet and I think some gum that has been embedded, anyway to get them out?

Have you tried "Goo Gone" or "Goof Off" both get a number of things out, off and gone.

Goo gone is a great idea, like the pp already advised.
A paste of baking soda is another alternative.
Gum is easy to get out of rug/ carpet, hair......freeze it ( put ice cube on it). It becomes very brittle...break pieces of.
Worse case scenario, take scissors, and cut some fibers with the gum on it.
Stain on carpet...attack with either carpet cleaner (there is some good ones out there now), or, if not handy, water with drops of laundry detergent. (Plain laundry detergent....has enzymes in it, breaking down the satin and/ or odor!)

for the stains on the carpet FOLEX, This stuff gets everything out dirt, crayon, set in mustard, marker(have a 3 yr old) its great, oh and non toxic. For scuffs it depends on the tile you can try nail polis ramover, or try one of those magic erasers pads first. Good luck i know what a pain it is to get an apartment ready when you are leaving

What kind of scratches/scuffs? If they are the black scuffs from your shoes, use your toe. Wearing socks just rub the scuffs off with your toe--works like a charm.

To get scuffs off tile I use the Mr. Clean blue/white wonder sponge. It works GREAT!
