Hairspray or lemon juice will work on ink on a shirt, not sure if it will work on carpet.

Do you have a small section of carpet left from the install or a section in a closet that you can remove and splice in where you spilled it at?

I've used a mixture of Oxy-Clean and alcohol to clean ink out. It worked but was noticeable because those areas were cleaner than the rest of the carpet.

Try Oxiclean. I once took out paint in the carpet with "Resolve."

Think most people know this one, if not hope this helps.

1 Blot the ink stain immediately like ASAP. With a clean sponge.

2 Scrub the ink stain, with a good commercial stain remover and a clean cloth.

3 If ink spot remains, spray yes HAIR SPRAY on the entire ink spot and leave hair spray in for 3 to 5 minutes.

4 Scrub the ink stain with commercial stain remover again.

5 Repeat steps 3 to 5 until the stain is completely gone. Hope this is of help.
