I am a first time home buyer. I recently made an offer on an old house which was accepted. I hope to close around Feb. 11. The lender is waiting on the appraisal. My experience has been so-so. The lender is very slow and the sellers cannot make any requested repairs without a mortgage commitment. Can't get the mortgage commitment until the house gets appraised and the loan goes through.
I would like to hear from others who can share their home buying experience. Problems with home inspection, Realtor, sellers, closing, etc.
