We have two new bar stools that we're using on a textured porcelain tile floor. The chair legs seem to be level. It's the floor that's the problem. I've found ideas for fixing the chairs if it's a slanted floor, but this is different. Because of the texture (kind of like slate), the chairs wobble in one place but not in another. (And of course the wobble spot is the exact place we want to put them at the bar.)

We're thinking of something like heavy felt or rubber padding that would compress slightly and adjust to the floor.

Anybody with experience with this situation?

Thanks!

Any chance that you could trade in your four-legged bar stools for ones that are three-legged?

They made a rubber foot on a threaded bolt. You thread the bottom of the chair leg and turn in the threaded bolt. Then you can adjust it as the chair changes its shape or is moved around.
