I just wanted to say that I think your container home is gorgeous! And I'm female so we're not all fashionistas or divas. I particularly like how you got unfinished cabinets and stained them yourself and the walls aren't sheetrock. I like the tongue and groove you used instead. Looks like a nice place to live or get away for the weekend. Good job!

That is very much appreciated, especially with so many negative comments coming from some of the members of this forum, it is nice to know that not everyone thinks Sheetrock is awesome .

Thought some of you might enjoy an updated photo. I got the rock work done around the wood stove and have now added a mini split heat/ac system.

I don't even have air conditioning! LOL

How's it going with a woodstove? Early mornings chilly?

The new mini split system is also a heater, so now the wood stove can just be a backup. But previously it actually stayed pretty comfy overnight due to the earth embankment which really helps moderate the inside temps.

While I don't share the same taste as you, I am very impressed with the work you have done.

Lots of folks don't share the same taste as I, but that is what makes this old world go around .

This idea would make for an excellent camp somewhere! Maybe you could start up a business for yourself.
