Tea leaves and coffee grounds are great food for the plants. They’re full of nutrients that your acidic-loving plants crave. Especially rosebushes, azaleas, rhododendrons, evergreens, camellias, ferns and other acid-loving houseplants will appreciate the the tannic acid that occurs naturally in tea and give them a lush, luxuriant look.

When I was a kid (6 or 7 years old) I would visit one of my friends house to play.

One day I came to their house and someone forgot to flush the Cheerios.

To this very day I cannot eat a bowl of Cheerios and I have no idea why....

A former County Executive here in MD recently directed his wife to flush a check from a developer down the toilet.

I used to flush politicians down the toilet. After all that is where they all belong! Unfortunately they all just hung around the pipes and created a smelly back-up problem. That was my first real view of how the Senate and Congress really worked. It was an ugly site so I stopped flushing them down!

Now I flush the occasional Tax Man down the terlet, both IRS and local property Tax Man. It doesn't do much good because I still receive the tax bills. But at least it is a minute of satisfaction as I watch them swirl down the bowl!

Other than that I only send down "Number 1", "Number 2" and the used "Butt Wipe"!

I used to flush old medicines when I had city plumbing. I know bad idea. I read an article about how water is testing positive for all sorts of drugs. Opps. It is becoming a serious problem in some cities. I have septic now and do not flush anything that I am not supposed to. I even throw kleenex in the trash instead of flushing it.
