We had a nest of starlings up under the eves of our house and they made a heck of a mess with their emissions all down the siding. Of course it is 30ft up in the air, just to add to the fun. Any ideas on the best way to remove their 'deposits' without taking the paint off? I fear that power washing the siding would remove the paint, leading to even more fun.

Thanks

- Tim

PS I hate ladders, but it looks like there is no other way, no windows close by!

Maybe one of those car washing wands that emit soap? They screw onto the end of your garden hose.....the brush on the end is soft enough not to harm your car paint.....shouldn't hurt your siding either.

Probably still have to go up on a ladder part of the way though.

That's all I got......

When you finally do get it cleaned off be certain to put up those bird spikes to keep them from returning to nest!

TSP and a floor scrub brush, rinse after. Some jobs just aren't fun.
