I hired a guy to transport a washer and dryer 100 miles in the back of his pickup. I was not there to help load. He laid the washer on its back to make it fit the truck bed better.
When he arrived at my house and we went to unload, there was about (I'm guessing) a one ounce puddle of oil on the inside of the back panel. It had leaked out of a motor or bearing housing or somewhere. Since I am quite incoherent when it comes to machinery, I would seek someone's advice regarding:
1.) Can I replace the oil?
2.) How do I replace the oil?
3.) Should I not worry about it?
The washer is a Whirlpool top-loader and has only 4-5 uses on it. I know I should have used better judgment and rented a truck but this is what I get.
Thanks all, in advance!
