This seems to be a somewhat popular do-it-yourself alarm system and I purchased one for my home. I'm trying to install it this weekend and have hit a dead end. I can't get this damn thing to program to save my life. I've read and re-read the installation instructions and have done every imagineable Google search to find info about programming this thing.

I thought the hard part about the installation would be to properly program/synch all the wireless sensors. That turned out to be the easiest part! I can't figure out how to change the security codes. Every single code I input is "invalid". WTH??? Why won't it let me change the security code to my own code so some smart burglar can't just come in and input "1234" or "4321" and turn off my alarm? I've literally spent the last four hours trying to get this freakin' thing to work and am lost. If anybody has any experience with this alarm system, I'd appreciate the help!
