I'm considering installing marble tiles in a shower stall. I know I'd need to get them sealed, but wondering if another type of tile is better suited for the shower. Thought? Thanks.

A lot of shower cleaners have acid in them that won't be very friendly with marble tile. Honestly I'd go for something else.

Thanks. Are there any cleaners that are marble-friendly?

Marble is very slippery when wet.

I hope you aren't thinking of using marble for the floor of the shower.

Did you end up putting marble in your shower? If so, are you happy you did?

I have tumbled travertine and polished travertine in my master bathroom shower. I have never sealed my tile and have had no problems whatsoever. The tumbled travertine is just rough enough that I have never slipped in the shower. I am very happy that I used the materials that I did.
