Technically, that's no different than a concrete walkway. Pavers are not pervious; and the joints between the pavers don't allow enough absorbion to constitute a pervious surface. Besides, if installed correctly the joints are sanded and compacted with a vibratory plate.

Have you considered doing a "raised" walkway using 6X6 and 5/4 decking. This could give you a stable walking surface and would still allow water to run underneath. Just an idea.
