Also be aware that LP will REDUCE the gas burner output. It's not the same as a gas line into your house (we have an LP tank solely for our gas oven).

I don't remember the ratio, but, say a burner is rated at 18,000 BTU, you may only get 13,000 BTU with LP. Don't hold me to it, but do check it out.

I have one of these in the grage that i will have in the kitchen wwhen I finish it. It is a professional model with one huge high output burner and was used by a professional chef in a resturuant, so I guess it is a professional model. It does all the things a new fancy stove does and looks nicer.

If you really want high end, get one of these:

TYHe second one is a magic chef 6300 from the 1930s. Professionally restored, they go for $20,000 - $30,000 (you could pretty much eat out for the rest of our life for that). Even a beat up rusty ne will sell for $1500 - $5000.

The one I have if a Magic Chef 1000. Ours is from the late 1920s. Professionally restored they range around $15,000. I got mine for $500. However I am in the process of discovering why they are so expensive when resotred. It is a lot of work.
