I wonder if all are honest in what their swapping from.., I wonder if anyone would swap me for a very small house in Glasgow, for a large mansion style with pool, jacuzzi, hot tub and high walled garden...NO thought not...

My cousins did it as their house is located close to an area frequented by seasonal vacationers (near a NY State Park and ski area). They put all their personal belongings, etc. in storage. They traded with someone in Sicily. Aside from culture shock (how people live) and the "oldness" of the house (nothing updated or remodeled) they had an overall pleasant experience.

I do nto think we could do it. We woudl have to leave them a five page list on how to take care of the 30 or so pets. "Oh and by the way, do nto be surprised if you find kinds you do not know eating breakfast i the kitchen in the morning. It happens all the time."

oh dear, thats a job not a holiday with all those pets but I was thinking about the Commonwealth Games coming to our area in 2014, as I live really close to lots of the arenas and parks being used. and thought about going on holiday at that time and letting out my house. would any of you think of giving your house over to strangers ..
