I wonder what kinds of problems would develop for the tree over time. Since your heating (or cooling) the bottom of the trunk because it's inside the house and the top of the tree outside is exposed to the weather. The main problem I see is if the tree falls it will crush your house. The tree growing should have very much impact for the house, so long as no branches are inside the house.
Why does the white door have that funny slant at the bottom?
It's a combination camera angle/shadow, the door is straight/normal.
