I was about to replace O-ring or whatever was failing in this faucet but I just stuck at this point...








I was trying really hard to pull it out of the sock using the two-handle jaw but it seems it stuck there very well or maybe I need to do something else (unscrew something, etc.) before trying to pull it out.

Anybody familiar with this type of faucet?

Looks like a Moen. There is clip that slides out and then the cartridge lifts straight up. It does not "unscrew". Gotta have water turned off under sink. Probably need to unscrew the piece around the cartridge to access the clip. If there is corrosion and threade piece won't unscrew to give access to clip just buy new faucet...

It is a Moen model 4551. Once you remove the cartridge nut, the cartridge(1224) should just pull out..
