Thank you everyone. A lot of hard work went into both houses and the new owners love them. Actually the second one added a new pool with no screen or fence and that is to code. And both house are insured.
That is a valid issue...wherever you live you must comply with your county codes so check them before you do work yourself.
Yes it is "impossible" to please everyone all the time. Tastes are so varied. We just wanted to give those homes some TLC and take them out of the 1970's
What also can't be determined is the location of each house from the pictures. Real estate is many times about location.
