At first I was excited to see this thread, as I have been looking EVERYWHERE for the past few months for some outdoor lounge chairs, and thought maybe I'd find some good answers here. But if your budget for furniture is $10-20K, clearly we are not going to be shopping at the same places.
I've been frustrated that I can't find a nicely built lounger for under $800, and many of them are much more than that. Sheesh, I would have thought a sturdy outdoor lounger would be a couple hundred bucks. I was quite wrong.
Sears has some in the range that you're searching. Try them.

I'm just tired of buying stuff that doesn't last.

I looked at Sears, both the physical store and online. Here's the kind of chaise I want, but at almost $700 it's not the price I want to pay (and this doesn't even include the cushion). Sears.com

ditto Kayanne, I was very interested in this thread topic but I am also not looking at what the OP is looking for. We are low-key, country/cottage casual here... no outdoor couches here, and not spending $10k+. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I'm waiting to buy until Labor Day or afterwards so I can take advantage of clearance prices. Anyway, the tip for aluminum construction is helpful, thanks K'ledgeBldr and Caspian.
