Thanks NY Annie - I doubt we'll do a pool, but that's an interesting idea.

You have a wonderful area. Look around your location for cheap available construction material such as rocks or telephone poles, etc. You will need to build small walls to create a rice patty multiple layer effect, each going down 3 feet to the other. This would give small play areas. Everything you need is at the local Home Depot rental office. You can learn to operate heavy equipment, test first in open area. You will need to secure the existing ground before starting to avoid damage.

Depends on many factors, location in the country, how much of the work you will do yourself, how steep the slope is, etc.
