Are there special materials for window covering that would not block the light and allow you to see outside, but people can't see your home through the window on street level? I know some translucent sheets are close solutions, but while they allow plenty of light from outside, you can't see outside at all through it.

Thanks. Those silver films look great, just like some new office buildings (I suppose some luxurious limos' windows are also covered by them?). Once the film is put on the window, when you need to remove them in future, can they be peeled off easily without leaving residues on the window?

The thing to remember is that the film is only one way when the inside of your house is darker than the outside, so not so good at night.

"Again, remember that the one-way effect only works if the interior of your home is darker than the exterior, regardless of the type of film you use."
