I'm getting quotes for a new air handler and heat pump. Most of the places are giving me quotes for just Carrier, but one has given me a quote for Amana. I've been searching the web for information and not seeing that it's a bad idea to consider. Does anyone of here have any first hand knowledge of Amana vs. Carrier? Thanks!

Amana central air conditioners are made by Goodman. I'd carry ice and a fan before I had anything with a Goodman name on it. Think- cheap as possible= Goodman.
