Pumpkins and other fall/Halloween-themed outdoor decorations will come a little later.

How about you?

Right now, an Autumn themed wreath that my daughter and I crafted over the Summer. I hun it on Sunday.

I'll add more Harvest type decorations later on. Right now, I have the wreath and newly planted mums.
I think I'll add some pumpkins this weekend.

For Halloween, we carve several real Jack 'O Lanterns. I'll try to get a picture for you. I also keep the porch well lit with white lights.

I have made scarecrows with my children, when they were younger. I'm thinking about doing it again. It's not that hard and the look good. My father made one every year.

I'll pass on those silly Dollar store scarecrows.

I have an orange wooden star that has Autumn colored pip-berries and a bow on it. The star says, "Happy Harvest" in dark brown lettering.

does an apartment door count?

because we have a "fallish" wreath on it and the peep hole is in the middle.

For Christmas I get a real wreath and it makes our floor smell good. I am on the top floor so it only smells up where my apartment is.

A door knocker, a few dead bugs, and a lot of dust, dirt, and pollen.

As long as it can be secured and is weather-tight I could careless what's hanging on it.

Dust, and probably a cobweb or two.

I have an autumn wreath hanging on my front door and have cute scare crows in the front garden area. Will probably be putting up pumpkins up soon. I already planted my mums and fall like flowers, just hoping the early fall like weather that my friends in NJ got this year hurries up and comes down south early as well.

I have so many hundreds of acorns that I was thinking of making an acorn wreath. Maybe if I sit still long enough the desire will pass...

I just hung this on my front door yesterday:

I didn't take pictures, but I also have pumpkins and mums out there on either side of the door.

Here's a bit of fall decorating that I did - I switched out the pillows on my sofa for these fabulous orange velvet ones!

And this is cool - I filled this glass bowl with little glass acorns and nestled a candle in a little holder down in them. In the dark, with the candle lit, it looks like this:

I have a storm door too.....I hang wreaths on it with magnets.

Right now.....I still have the screen in the door.....once it gets cold for good......I will put the glass in the door and hang a pretty fall wreath.

I have some mini-skeletons hanging right now. I thought about putting up a typically "Happy Fall" door ornament, but when I put these up I thought it actually looked really neat.
