Day 11

Thanks to all for the kind comments. Got all the base nailed on today, and a final clean of sawdust in my garage. Will post up more once I get the base puttied, caulked and painted.

Great job. You're going to love how easy the place will be to keep clean now. I'll take bare floors over carpet any day. The room color is nice, too. Very relaxing.

You work so fast. Can you come visit my house? My kitchen remodel is in a standstill. My husband seems to have run out of steam. Without telling him, I've decided to start working on it myself. My first project is to figure out how to disconnect the kitchen sink so I can pull that last cabinet away. Keep in mind, there's a method to my madness. As soon as I start doing it myself, he'll take over.

Day 12

100% of construction complete as of about 15 minutes ago. I put blue tape on the floor where every nail was, and the puttied every one. I caulked the top, and joints and went to the doctor. when I got home I sanded the putty lightly, and then painted all. waited an hour and one half and pulled up the tape. installed the transition strip at the kitchen, and the door stop for the closet that mounts on the base. I'll give you more tomorrow once my furniture is in.
