Can some one please suggest which is a best Color For counter top for dark cherry wood Cabinets

Will it be dark green (some other dark color) or some other light color like cream or yellowish-beige.

Please let me know. We need to order it by Friday.

What else is in the room? What finish is on the cherry cabinets? I prefer black with cherry but it really depends on what else you are doing in the room.

You really need to post a photo of the cabinets and room for your questions.

There are so many different interpretations of "dark" and "cherry."

Based on what you've written, green would look very '80s to me. But it's only a guess with no pix.

the cabinet is similar as below one

also all appliances (stove, microwave, fridge and dish washer) are in silver color.

one side of the kitchen is a dining area with black or wood dining table and chair.

any suggestions

What colors do you LIKE and want to look at every day?

What material are you even considering? Laminate, quartz, composite, granite....??? Different materials are available in different colors.

Hmmmmmmmm. Let me think about it. I'll get back to you on Friday.

You waited this long, what's a few more days?

So, from your last thread- what was the final color selection for the wall? What's the floor? Yada, yada, yada.

A friend with cherry cabinets similar to posted color, with similar color floors and basically gray- tone granite told me that she would feel like she was in a cave sometimes, and it wasn't a good feeling for her to be working in there. It depends on what feels pleasant for you, OP. Also depends on how much natural light comes into the kitchen, and how you feel about that.

Don't use black!
Black granite is very difficult to clean - always looks streaked.

Lighting also make a difference. We have dark cabinets like that too. The kitchen is on the west wall of our home so we went light with floors and walls and chose a mix of light and dark for countertops.
